The screen open up and the movie starts. That what media rooms are all about. Without remote control blinds that would just be pie-in-the-sky.

I had a customer up in Vero Beach that had a beautiful house on the ocean with the master bed room facing the ocean. She wanted to be able to enjoy the view in bed so along the whole wall facing the ocean were installed glass doors and then we put in a remote control vertical.

The outcome was nothing short of gorgeous. They could stay in bed have their coffee and enjoy the morning ocean view with the vertical blind eliminating the harsh morning glare from the sun hitting the water.

A number of the newer model homes have these breakfast room windows that are ten to twelve foot high and are usually bay windows with butted glass. The view is spectacular from these windows and to put a cored blind with cords hanging in the middle of the window is a sin.
