Outdoor Patio Window Shades Give You Decorating Options Galore
Outdoor Patio Window shades are causing quite a stir among the blind manufactures because they have all come out with great looking patio blinds in the last couple of years. Maybe it was all the attention created when I wrote the original article on outdoor patio window shades a couple of years ago. Don't I wish!
Anyway whatever the reason, they have all joined the patio blind bandwagon and come out with so many great looking blinds. The patterns run the gamut from tropical to quite sophisticated.
The problem with outdoor patio window shades is to make them good looking and at the same time functional. The majority of people using them want relief from the glare and constant heat of the sun and at the same time want to be able to enjoy the view of there back yard, lake or mountains.
To accomplish this they need to stop the glare from the sun in its' tracks while letting the person see through the shade at the same time. Outdoor patio blinds are not made for privacy. They're made to tame the sun and be "view friendly".
My favorite company, Bali has a great looking line of solar shades
in 11 of the best looking colors to compliment your patio furnishings and keep it looking good.
Phifer, another great company, has a two types of solar shades. The Economy Sheerweave
offers 8 colors and the Premium Sheerweave
collection has over sixteen different colors from which to choose from to please any decorator.
All the above outdoor patio window shades are meant to be used under cover, porch or patio etc. The Coolaroo Sun Shades that I talked about in the original article on outdoor patio window shades were made to be mounted on the outside of your house.
They are so good looking that most people mount them inside so that they don't have to go outside to raise and lower them. These coolaroo shades come with a cover on them to protect them from the elements.
I also mentioned before that coolaroo has what they call a sun sail that you can mount anywhere you need protection from the suns rays. You can attach it to a tree, building or anything you can get a rope around. These are great for those spots in your yard that you can use only at certain times of the day when the sun is not bearing down. With one of these sails you can enjoy that great spot anytime you feel like "chilling".
No matter what your situation, there is an outdoor patio shade that will solve your sun problems, allow you to still have that view and keep you comfortable all day long.
