Cordless wood window blinds are easy!

What could be easier than hitting a remote button or a button on your cordless wood window blinds and the blind goes up or down at you will.

Cordless wood blinds using a manual system are spring loaded. As you gently pull down on the control tab you add tension to a spring loaded control that will cause the blind to go up when you exert upward pressure.

The controls on these blinds are either buttons you use too raise and lower or else a tab you put gentle upwards or down wards pressure on.

This option goes by different names easy rise, literise, easy up to name a few. The cost for this option will run anywhere from an additional $29 with Bali, on up depending on the company.

Electric Cordless Wood Window Blinds.

These cordless wood window blinds come in either 12 volt or 110 volt. If you are building a new house and want cordless blinds then you can use the 110 volt blinds which are prewired in to a new house and can be raised and lowered by a wall switch or a remote control.

The advantage of prewiring is the blinds are trouble free, very easy to control and maintenance free. No battery packs to replace which usually means not needing to pay an installer to change the batteries for you.

The 12 volt system of course uses the batteries and are basically trouble free except for the occasional battery change. Some of those battery packs will last up to two years.

The nice thing is you can sit in your favorite chair and raise and lower your cordless wood blinds with a touch of the remote. Especially helpful if you want to darken all for a movie and then open up for a potty or snack break.
